Blizzard has been helping to increase awareness of climate change through events in Riders Republic and Skull and Bones.
To launch Riders Republic, Blizzard will ignite the game's world with flames, but the company will not announce when it will occur, but it is an attempt to show the fact that forest fires can grow quickly WoW cataclysm Gold and without warning. "Our first event will focus on the issue of resource exploitation and will show what is happening in the game and in the real world in the event that the need for shark's fins leads to the excess fishing that sharks do. The players will be able to choose to help conservation of marine wildlife and to understand the negative impact of shark fin trading," Blizzard said. "Like the current social challenges the changes must be collaborative, increase awareness, and motivate people to understand and think about other ecological issues which require our consideration."
This is the first of Skull and Bones' seasonal live events. Players will collaborate for this competition for community members and will get rewards based on the number of people who participate.
Following this shark fins event, Blizzard will partner with marine conversation NGOs on other initiatives to raise awareness in Skull and Bones.
In addition to the climate in other climate news, it was reported that the United States Supreme Court just this week made a decision that is believed to result in a negative impact on the climate change.
This is all as part of Playing for the Planet initiative of the United Nations.
